The Chasm was the first of the challenges played inside the Blasted Mountain in season 7. The warriors have to carefully cross the narrow beam over a giant chasm with 3 very large swinging objects swinging at them. Winners get as many gold rings as they can (two strung above the beam, with a third on the far side). Out of all 9 warriors who attempted the challenge plus winner of the series Versad and runner up Hanso who attempted it again, only Beron managed to successfully cross the Chasm.
Trivia
The Chasm was no doubt inspired by the balance beam sections used on the final day of the spin-offs.
